Ants Climbing A Tree 螞蟻上樹

A traditional Sichuan dish made of Chinese glass noodles with spicy grounded pork. The grounded pork clings on the glass noodles when you pick it up with chopsticks, it is like “ants climbing a tree”. (need some imagination for that) It sounds odd but taste delicious!

This is one of my favourite homey Chinese dish, or I just like anything with glass noodles in it. The best part of this dish is the glass noodles soak into the spicy bean sauce, all the flavour come inside the noodles. With the grounded pork, ginger, garlic, chilli, it just can’t go wrong. It is spicy, sour and so delicious. Great with plain rice, oh yeah, one more bowl of rice please!!!

It takes only 15 minutes to cook, and the imgredients are very simple. The glass noodles will absorb the sauce very quickly, so if you want more sauce, you can add more water in it. Ok, let’s make it!

簡單經典的家常菜 -四川螞蟻上樹,我超喜歡吃粉絲,這味絕對是經典,炒香的豬肉加上香辣的醬汁,彈牙的粉絲吸收醬汁,超惹味,又吃多一碗飯呢!

做法好簡單,只需15分鐘,可加減辣度,也可以做不辣的版本給小孩,新手不敗,必學的家常菜!

Heat hot pan and add the spicy bean sauce and cook for a minute. Add the gounded meat, cook until the color changed. Then add in minced garlic and ginger, stir quickly for a minute.

熱鑊後下豆瓣醬,先炒一分鐘至香味散發 (我喜歡辣,所以多加豆瓣醬)。然後下免治豬肉,炒至肉變色後,下蒜蓉及薑蓉炒均勻。2015-09-06_04.11.11

Add a cup 250ml hot water and all the seasoning into the pan, bring it to boil. Add the glass noodles and mix well. Once the glass noodles almost absorb most of the water, sprinkle the spring onion and remove from heat. Do not overcook the glass noodles or it will become mushy.

下一湯碗水(約250毫升)及所有調味料,用中火煮醬汁。加份入粉絲拌勻(先用開水浸粉絲至家身),讓粉絲吸收醬汁。待醬汁差不多收乾水,灑上蔥花即成!

Ingredients
  1. 2 bunches glass noodles
  2. 100 gram grounded pork
  3. 1 teaspoon minced garlic
  4. 1 teaspoon minced ginger
  5. 1 stalk spring onion, chopped
For the Seasoning
  1. 1 tablespoon spicy bean sauce
  2. 1 teapspoon sugar
  3. 1 teaspoon salt
  4. 1/2 teaspoon sesame oil
  5. 材料:
  6. 粉絲 -2束
  7. 免治豬肉 -100克
  8. 薑蓉 -1茶匙
  9. 蒜蓉 -1茶匙
  10. 蔥花 -適量
  11. 調味料:
  12. 豆瓣醬 -1湯匙
  13. 鹽 -1湯匙
  14. 糖 -1湯匙
  15. 麻油 -1/2茶匙
Instructions
