Baked Pork Chop Rice 港式焗豬扒飯

Oven baked pork chop with fried rice and tomato sauce, topped with golden melted cheese. Classic and popular dish in Hong Kong, just so delicious!

Baked Pork Chop Rice

This is one of the most popular dishes in Hong Kong, you can find in local restarant (Cha Chann Tang) and fast food restaurant. Very simple but it just DELICIOUS! With two big chunky pork chop, fried rice with tomato sauce, (even has pineapple in it) topped with melted cheese. This is heaven! I always have it when I was kid, must have with red bean ice drink. It really bring up a lot happy memories.

Of course it is impossible to find it here in the UK, well, it never good enough. So I made my own version, with nice quality pork chops, a lot ingredients fried rice. With meat, vegetable and rice, one tray and you can have a great happy meal. Please try and hope you Looooove it!  😉

我最愛的都是大家樂的一哥焗豬扒飯,上幾個月前回港去吃了一次,竟然要四十幾蚊。。。漲價一半(我學生年代的價錢是$21),質素也下降,有點失望。。。

我就回家做我的版本,回味一下舊時。

將大大件豬扒煎至金黃的排排放在炒飯上,然後淋上蕃茄醬汁,加少許蔬菜,再放上芝士,焗至芝士溶化,金黃酥脆,超~美~味! 

酸酸甜甜,香濃芝士,有肉有蔬菜有飯,輕輕鬆鬆搞定一餐,美味,開胃又健康!

Season the pork chop with some salt and pepper, then pan-fry it until golden, set aside. Add oil in hot pan, quickly stir fry the rice, egg and green peas. Then transfer in a baking dish.

將洋蔥切碎,青紅椒切丁,菠蘿切小塊。將調味料拌勻備用。用鬆肉槌鬆肉,然後灑少許鹽,黑胡椒粉在豬扒兩面。熱鑊後下油,煎豬扒至兩面金黃色,盛起備用。

再煎雞蛋,下白飯及青豆拌勻,可加點鹽或雞粉調味。然後將飯放入烤盤內。

For the tomato sauce, cook the onion for 3 minutes, then add green and red peppers and all the seasoning. Bring it to boil until the sauce thickened, then add pineapple and mix well. 

下少許油,炒洋蔥,青紅椒三分鐘,加所有調味料,煮沸醬汁,試味,再加菠蘿拌勻。

Place the pork chops onto the rice, then add the tomato sauce, top with cheese. Pop in preheated oven at 220C, bake for 15 to 20 minutes until the cheese melt and golden.

將豬扒放在飯面上,再淋上蕃茄醬汁,灑上芝士碎。放入已預熱220度焗爐,焗約15至20分鐘,至芝士溶化及金黃色即成!

Ingredients
  1. 2 bowls rice
  2. 2 pork chop
  3. 1/2 green and red pepper, chopped
  4. 1/4 onion, chopped
  5. 50 gram green peas
  6. 2 eggs
  7. 2 slices pinepples
  8. Mozzarella Cheese
For the Seasoning
  1. 2 tablespoons tomato paste
  2. 1 teaspoon salt
  3. 1 teaspoon sugar
  4. 1 teapsoon corn starch
  5. 100 ml water
  6. 材料:
  7. 白飯- 2-3碗
  8. 豬扒 -2塊
  9. 洋蔥 -1/4個,切小塊
  10. 1/2 個 -紅椒 及青椒,切丁
  11. 青豆 -50克
  12. 雞蛋 -2隻
  13. 菠蘿 -2片, 切小塊
  14. 蕃茄醬汁:
  15. 蕃茄膏 -2湯匙
  16. 糖 -1茶匙
  17. 鹽 -1茶匙
  18. 粟粉 -1茶匙
  19. 水-100毫升
