French Quiche (Bacon & Leek) 簡易法式鹹派

Spring is here, time to start and get some baking done! I love making pies, chocolate pie, lemon pie, apple pie…but savour quiche is also very easy to make. You have to make your own pie crust, they are so much better than the store bought one.

Quiche is very simple but delicious food. It is easy to make it by yourself and I guaranteed it taste so much better than the restaurants one. You can add any filling you like, I always love bacon! I always wonder how can you make eggplants tasty…I mean eggplants are tasty but if you use it to cook Chinese dishes, you might need a lot of oil to keep its colour. Or I like to grill eggplants for salad.

Shakshuka 蕃茄烤蛋

Shakshuka, this healthy baked eggs with tomato sauce, originally from Tunisia, North Africa. But very popular also in Middle East, sometimes when we went to cafe in Dubai, we also have Shakshuka. Of course different household has different recipe, but they are all simple, healthy and delicious.

Simple cook the tomato sauce with bell pepper, then bake the eggs inside the sauce. Serve with warm bread….mmmm..so yummy! Perfect for brunch and everyone will love it!

How awesome is that if we can have a homemade pizza without making the pizza dough?! Yes, I know, it is not too difficult to make your pizza dough, but from time to time, we just need to be lazy right? 

This bread pizza is just perfect! I use Arabic flatbread but you can use any bread you like, slice sandwich bread is good too. Put all the toppings you like and bake. Seriously, so simple, easy and delicious! Breakfast, lunch, afternoon tea…why not?!

Cheesy Hash Brown 芝士薯餅

Mr P really loves McDonalds’ hash brown, I don’t know why but he just love it. One time he even tried to make hash brown at home as he can’t buy the McDonalds one after 11am. Sadly, it failed. 

Actually, it is very easy to make and it is sooooooo delicious. For me, it is way better than the McDonalds one. I even add some (or lots) of cheese and some spices in it, half fry it until golden and crispy…seriously they are sooooooooo good!
