Colorful Fish Cakes 七彩魚餅

Very simple, homey and colourful dish (especially for kids), vegetables and fish cakes. Golden crispy on the edges, with simple seasoning. It is unbeatable dish at my home!

Colorful Fish Cakes

This is one of my favourite dishes when I was kid, I always love it when my mum cooked this. Even now, everytime when I back home, I request this dish, just love it! I think mum always create some dishes to let the kids eat more vegetables and fish, and this is by far the best inventio !

It is very simple dish, mix with fish meat, carrot and potato, then pan-fry it as little fish cakes. It takes only 30 minutes to make, of your kids don’t like fish or vegetable (or both!) You should definitely give it a try!

這個是小時候媽媽經常煮的餸,色彩繽紛的魚餅,有蔬菜有魚肉,營養豐富。煎成金黃色魚餅,香口又美味,小朋友必愛! 

材料非常簡單,小朋友不喜歡吃蔬菜魚肉,只要加點心思,就成簡單美味的下飯料理!

Mixed the fish meat, julienned carrot and potato together in a large bowl. (with your hands is so much easier) Then add in one egg and season with some salt and white pepper, mix well.

魚肉可自己做,我是在魚檔買現成的鯪魚肉。 將紅蘿蔔,馬鈴薯切幼絲。

將紅蘿蔔,馬鈴薯及魚肉拌勻。然後下一隻雞蛋,少許白胡椒粉調味 (用手會較容易將材料拌勻)。

Add oil in hot pan, add a tablespoon of mixture in a pan, press it a bit to make a round shape. Pan-fry it on medium heat until both sides are golden.

熱鑊下油,下一大湯匙的蔬菜魚肉,用湯匙背將肉壓扁(成煎餅狀),煎至金黃色即成!

Ingredients
  1. 200 gram fish meat
  2. 1 carrot, juillenned
  3. 1 potato, juilenned
  4. 1 egg
  5. 材料:
  6. 魚肉- 200克
  7. 馬鈴薯- 1個 (切幼絲)
  8. 紅蘿蔔- 1條 (切幼絲)
  9. 雞蛋- 1隻
