Korean Kimchi Fried Rice 韓式泡菜炒飯

Fried rice for Asian is something like…maybe burger for westerners. We just love fried rice, any kind of it. We put almost everything in it, make a large wok of it, so delicious and comforting. It is something hard to resist. 

Recipe -kimichi Fried riceThis korean fried rice is one of my favourite, with the kimchi and Korean chilli paste, spicy and delicious.  Add some meat, vegetable and with the fried egg on top, delicious! The most important thing is, the rice has to be dry, you can cook the rice a day before.

You can put almost anything which you have in your fridge, it is good way to clear the fridge. With simple ingredients and seasoning, make a big wok of rice to feed the whole family in 15 minutes. You don’t always have to buy fried rice from Chinese takeway, cause you can make it better!

這個超簡單,又超超超超美味的韓式泡菜炒飯!有酸辣的泡菜配韓式辣醬,不太辣,充滿泡菜香,十分開胃!材料除了泡菜,雪櫃裡有什麼都可以炒,是清理雪櫃的最好方法!一大碟炒飯,有菜有肉,15分鐘便做到!花點心意,加點變化,又做到比餐廳更美味的炒飯!

Recipe -kimichi Fried riceAdd oil in a hot pan and cook the fried eggs first, then set aside. Add a bit more oil (I know, but it can prevent the rice stick to the pan later) cook the meat for few minutes and season it, I use barbeque pork here. Then add kimchi and the juice, cook for a minute, and add the vegetable. Keep stirring until soften, then add rice and chilli paste. Cook for about 3 minutes then it is done! Transfer to a plate and put a fried egg on top, done!

先煎一隻太陽蛋,盛起備用。再下少許油,先炒肉類,下鹽調味,炒數分鐘至肉變色。然後泡菜及泡菜汁炒一分鐘,再加蔬菜炒至軟身。最後下飯及韓式辣醬拌勻,炒三分鐘,放上煎蛋即成!

Ingredients
  1. 2 bowls rice
  2. 2 eggs
  3. 30 gram kimichi
  4. 150 gram meat
  5. Vegetable
  6. Spring onion for garnish
For the Seasoning
  1. 2 tablespoons Korean chilli paste
  2. 1/2 teaspoon sugar
  3. 材料:
  4. 白飯 -2碗
  5. 雞蛋 -2隻
  6. 泡菜 -30克
  7. 豬肉 - 150克
  8. 蔬菜-適量
  9. 蔥花 -少許
  10. 調味料:
  11. 韓式辣醬 -2湯匙
  12. 糖 -1/2茶匙
Instructions
  1. Add oil in hot pan and fry the eggs, then set aside.
  2. Add little bit more oil and
  3. cook the meat for 3 minutes, season with salt.
  4. Then add kimchi and some juice, cook for a minute. Add in vegetables, cook until softened.
  5. Add the rice, chilli paste and sugar, keep stirring for 3 minutes.
  6. Transfer to a bowl and put the egg on top.
Notes
  1. You can add any food you like and adjust the amount of chilli paste.
