I admit, I love its name more than cookies itself. It is just make me feel so romantic, melting moments, snow balls….You can make this cookie round shape and sandwich with jam or cream. But I like to make it ball-shape, dust with icing sugar to make it more “romantic’.

Very easy to make and only need few ingredients, the shortbread cookies just so rich and delicious, I am sure you can’t resist it.

Cream the butter with icing sugar, beat until soft and fluffy. Then sift in icing sugar and corn starch and mix well, it will become crumble like. Use your hands to form a dough, wrap with cling film and chill in fridge for 30 minutes.

Take the dough out and leave at room temperature for 5 minutes. Then roll it into a small balls, if the dough is too dry, you can add some oil and form a dough. Place the little balls on lined baking sheet.

Pop in preheated oven at 170C, bake for about 10 minutes until the sirface is slightly golden. Cool on wire rack completely, then dust with icing sugar.Recipe- Melting Moments
