Satay Chicken 沙嗲串燒雞

Who doesn’t love these satay chicken? The juicy and tender chicken on skewers with delicious peanut dipping sauce. Perfect for snack, starter, party food or whatever!

Usually the satay chicken cooked under the grill, but I pop it in oven and it perfectly fine and as delicious. It is an easier way and keep the chicken so juicy. Trust me, you are not able to stop eating these!

這個充滿東南亞風味的沙嗲烤雞串,用沙嗲醬醃雞肉,然後放入焗爐焗,這可令雞肉更嫰滑多汁。

Cut the chicken thigh into small pieces, marinate it for at least one hour, overnight is better. Then thread the chicken pieces onto your skewers, place on the baking sheet with foil. You can brush some oil on the meat.

將雞肉切小塊,然後用 醃料 醃雞肉最少一個小時。將竹籤浸在熱水5分鐘,這可防止在烤或焗時竹籤變黑。然將雞肉串起。

Pop in preheated oven at 180C, bake for 15 -18 minutes, flip it half way through.2016-06-02_22.08.08

將雞肉串放在鋪有錫紙的烤盤上,放入已預熱180度焗爐,焗約15 -18分鐘,焗至一半時間時,將雞肉翻面再烤(可在雞肉上塗少許油)*如沒有焗爐,放在平底鑊上燒也可

For the Dipping Sauce, melt the butter in hot pan, add in minced garlic, then add rest of the ingredients (except coconut milk). Cook the sauce until thickened, then add in coconut milk, bring it to boil, done!

沙嗲醬 做法:將牛油放在鑊內,煮至溶化,然後下蒜蓉。再下所有沾醬材料拌勻(除了椰漿),煮至醬汁濃稠後,再加椰漿煮沸即可。

Ingredients
  1. 600 gram chicken (I use thigh)
For the Marinate
  1. 1 teaspoon satay sauce
  2. 1 teaspoon soy sauce
  3. 1 teaspoon sugar
  4. 1 tablespoon sesame oil
  5. few white pepper
For the Dipping Sauce
  1. 25 gram butter
  2. 1 teaspoon garlic, minced
  3. 1 tablespoon satay sauce
  4. 2 tablespoons peanut butter sauce
  5. 1 teaspoon spicy bean sauce
  6. 1 tablespoon sugar
  7. 120 ml water
  8. 120 ml coconut milk/cream
  9. 材料:
  10. 雞肉 -600克
  11. 醃料:
  12. 沙嗲醬 -1茶匙
  13. 生抽 -1茶匙
  14. 糖 -1茶匙
  15. 白胡椒粉 -少許
  16. 麻油 -1湯匙
  17. 沙嗲醬:
  18. 牛油 -25克
  19. 蒜蓉 -1茶匙
  20. 沙嗲醬 -1湯匙
  21. 花生醬 -2湯匙
  22. 豆瓣醬 -1茶匙
  23. 糖 -1湯匙
  24. 水 -120毫升
  25. 椰漿 -120毫升
