Sweet and Sour Chicken 咕嚕雞球

Who doesn’t love sweet and sour pork? This is like the most classic takeout Chinese food EVER! In Dubai is not easy for me to buy nice ribs , I make it with chicken thigh instead. 

Deep fried the chicken until golden and crispy, mix with sweet and sour sauce. Actually is not easy to make at all and I am sure it is so much better than you have in Chinese restaurant!

這個百吃不厭的家常菜,酸酸甜甜,開胃又下飯。在杜拜比較難買好的排骨,我就用雞腿肉代替。雞肉無骨又嫰滑,外層炸至金黃香脆,再加酸甜的醬汁,超美味!大人小孩都愛料理,在家也可輕鬆做到!

Cut the pineapple , green and red bell pepper into small pieces. Use a bit soy sauce, sugar and salt to marinate the chicken for 30 minutes. Mix all the seasoning together. 

Dip the chicken into egg mixture and coat with corn starch. Pat the excess flour, fry the chicken in hot oil for 3 to 4 minutes, until golden.

Add oil in hot pan, cook the onion and red/green pepper for 2 minutes. Add in seasoning and bring it to boil, then add in some corn starch and water to thicken the sauce. Add in pineapple and chicken , mix well. Done!

菠蘿切小塊,青紅椒切丁。先用少許生抽、糖和鹽醃雞肉30分鐘。將所有調味料拌勻備用。

將雞肉先沾蛋液,再沾粟粉(生粉). 拍去多餘的粉,放入熱油鑊炸三至四分鐘至金黃色。

燒熱鑊後下油,炒洋蔥和青、紅椒兩分鐘,再下調味料,煮沸後轉小火,加點生粉+水,將醬汁煮至濃稠。再下菠蘿和雞塊拌勻即成!

Ingredients
  1. 500 gram chicken thigh
  2. 1/4 onion, chopped
  3. few pineapple slices
  4. 1/2 green pepper, chopped
  5. 1/2 red pepper, chopped
  6. 1 egg, beaten
  7. corn starch
For the Seasoning
  1. 3 tablespoons ketchup
  2. 4 tablespoons vinegar
  3. 3 teaspoons sugar
  4. 3 tablespoons water
  5. 1/2 teaspoon worcestershire sauce
  6. 1/4 teaspoon salt
  7. 材料:
  8. 雞肉 500克
  9. 洋蔥 1/4個
  10. 菠蘿 數片
  11. 青椒 1/2個
  12. 紅椒 1/2個
  13. 雞蛋 1隻
  14. 生粉(粟粉) 適量
調味料
  1. 茄汁 3湯匙
  2. 白醋 4湯匙
  3. 糖 3茶匙
  4. 喼汁 1/2茶匙
  5. 水 3湯匙
  6. 鹽 1/4茶匙
Instructions
