Thai Cold Chicken Feet Salad 泰式酸辣鳳爪

Thai cold chicken feet salad is sour, spicy and very delicious. Typical Thai salad that you can order in Thai restaurants, with tomatoes, onion and coriandar. Great salad for appetizer or snack!

YESSSSS! They are chicken feet! Chicken feet always in many asian dishes, like Chinese dim sum -steamed chicken feet with black bean sauce (my Birtish husband’s favourite), chicken feet in Chinese soup, or with soy sauce. It sounds and look weird, but if you love it, you love it! 

This Thai chicken feet salad is so good cause is boneless, and is so chewy. The chicken feet soak in those delicious sauce, with tomatoes , onion and coriandar, so refreshing and make a perfect salad.

這味是我在泰國餐廳裡最喜歡的沙律,前菜,小食。酸辣開胃,無骨鳳爪,最方便,靭靭的超有口感。再配上洋蔥及蕃茄,清新不膩。

無骨鳳爪在凍肉鋪買到,白色的,做法超簡單,醃愈久愈入味,實在停不了口!

Cook the chicken feet in boiling water for a minute, then cut it into half (if the feet is too big) and soak into ice cold water and chill in fridge for 20 minutes.

先用沸水煮鳳爪一分鐘,去除雪味。然後將鳳爪切開一半,再浸入冰水內,放入雪櫃20分鐘備用。將車厘茄切半,洋蔥切幼絲,蒜頭拍碎。

將調味料拌勻,下指天椒及蒜蓉拌勻備用。

用廚紙抹乾鳳爪,放入大碗內,下蕃茄,洋蔥及芫茜,再加所有調味料拌勻。用保鮮紙包好,放入雪櫃醃最少兩小時,醃愈久愈入味!2015-09-22_05.48.05Mix all the sauce ingredients together, taste it and adjust by youself. Use paper towel to dry the chicken feets, then mix with chopped tomatoes and onion. Add in the sauce and mix well, sprinkle some coriandar. Chill in fridge for at least 2 hours before serve.

Ingredients
  1. 400 gram boneless frozen chicken feet
  2. 3 cloves garlic, minced
  3. 1/4 shallot, chopped
  4. 1 -2 red chilli
  5. 8 cherry tomatoes
  6. Coriandar, roughly chopped
For the Seasoning
  1. 5 tablespoons fish sauce
  2. 4 tablespoons vinegar
  3. 4 tablespoons sugar
  4. 1 lime juice
  5. 1/4 teaspoon salt

  8. 紫洋蔥 -1/4個
  9. 蒜頭 -3瓣
  10. 指天椒 -1-2隻
  11. 車厘茄 -8粒
  12. 芫茜 -適量
  13. 調味料:
  14. 魚露 -5湯匙
  15. 白醋-4湯匙
  16. 糖 -4湯匙
  17. 鹽 -1/4茶匙
  18. 青檸汁 -1個
Instructions
