Easy White Bread 簡單白麵包

Nothing better than the fresh baking smell in the house. We used to make white loaf with bread machine, it turned out well but still, not as good as the handmade one. Those bread that you (or your mixer) have to knead the dough and shape it. 

This classic, easy and delicious white bread is perfect! Love the crunchy crust and soft and fluffy inside. Perfect for making sandwiches or just with butter and jam.  Try and you will know how easy to make! 

這個是西式的白吐司,外層外脆,內裡鬆軟有口感。比我們亞洲式的麵包更有口感,不會輕輕的像吃空氣般。簡單的塗牛油和果醬已很美味,用來做三文治也超好吃!

做麵包其實不難,不用麵包機也可做到。在麵包店買麵包很方便,但內裡加了什麼化學劑,大家也不知道。自己做的麵包更天然,新鮮美味又較健康。給小朋友吃也更安心呢!

Mix the yeast, sugar and 3 tablespoons of water together, let it set for 10 minutes.

In a large bowl, add in flour, salt, milk and yeast mixture, mix well. Then add in water gradually, mix well (You may not need of the water, it depends on your dough)  If the dough is too wet, add some water, if too dry, add some water)

Place the dough on floured surface, knead for 8 to 10 minutes or until the dough is smooth and not sticky.

Put the dough in oiled bowl, cover with cling film and let it set for an hour or until the dough double its size. 

Take out the dough, press it to release air. Shape the dough and put in oiled baking tin. Cover with cling film and let it rest for 30 minutes. 

Sprinkle some flour on top of the dough, pop it in preheated oven at 200C, bake for 35 to 40 minutes. 

將酵母、糖和3大匙水拌勻,靜置10分鐘。將麵粉、鹽、牛奶和步驟一的酵母放在大碗內,拌勻。然後逐少加入水,拌勻 (如麵糰獨濕潤,可加點麵粉,太乾,多加點水)

將麵糰放在灑有麵粉的枱上,用手大力搓8至10分鐘,至麵糰表面光滑不黏手。將麵糰放入塗有油的大碗內,蓋上保鮮紙,靜置約一個小時,麵糰會漲大一倍。

將麵糰放在灑有麵粉的枱上,用手按壓麵糰,排出空氣,將麵糰做成長形,放入塗有油的烤盤內,再蓋上保鮮紙,靜置30分鐘作第二次發酵。

在麵糰表面灑少許麵粉,放入已預熱200度C的焗爐,焗約35至40分鐘即成!

*我用的烤盤是22 x 11.5cm

Ingredients
  1. 450 gram bread flour
  2. 7 gram instant dried yeast
  3. 8 gram sugar
  4. 10 gram salt
  5. 150 ml milk
  6. 150 ml water
  7. 材料:

  9. 乾快速酵母7克
  10. 糖8克
  11. 鹽10克
  12. 牛奶150毫升
  13. 水150毫升
