Lemon Barley Drink 檸檬薏米水
Lemon barley drink is a perfect combination for summer. They are so refreshing and actually very healthy. Barley provides a range of important vitamins and minerals: fiber, selenium, B vitamins and so much more. With the lemon, it helps to reduce edema and whitening your skin as well. This is one of the best drinks for ladies.
It is super easy to make, I cook a large pot of barley drink and keep it in fridge. I drink at least 2 glasses everyday and it is perfect for summer!
Soak the barley in water for one hour. Put the barley and water into a large pot, bring it to boil. Then turn to low heat and cook for 45 minutes.
Then add in rock sugar to taste, add sliced lemon before served.
- 50 gram barley
- 50 gram cooked barely
- 800 ml water
- rock sugar, to taste
- half lemon, sliced
- 生薏米 50克
- 熟薏米 50克
- 水 800毫升
- 冰糖 適量
- 檸檬 半個
