Spare Ribs with Black Bean Sauce 豉汁蒸排骨
This is classic Chinese dish, you can find it in Chinese restaurants as dim sum or we have it at home with rice. We love black beans, the strong flavour makes the dish has that special taste. I think you either love it or hate it.
It is very simple dish, a little bit spicy if you prefer. The black bean sauce so great with rice. Kids love it and a lot of sauce with the rice. Very easy to make, just marinate the spare ribs then steam it for 10 minutes, how easy is that?! Even you can cook a quick dinner after a long day, with some rice and vegetables, it is better than bu takeaway!
Wash and dry the spare ribs, marinate the spare ribs with all the seasoning , mix with chopped chilli for 20 minutes. Transfer to a plate and steam on high heat for 10 minutes or until fully cooked.
- 200 gram spare ribs
- 1 - 2 red chilli, finely choppe
- 1 tablespoon black bean, rough chopped
- 1 tablespoon soy sauce
- 1 teaspoon corn starch
- 1 teaspoon sugar
- 2 tablespoons water
- 排骨 -200克
- 豆豉 -1湯匙
- 生抽 -1湯匙
- 糖 -1茶匙
- 粟粉 -1茶匙
- Wash and dry the ribs, mix with chilli and black beans. Add the marinate seasoning and marinate for 20 minutes.
- Transfer to a plate, steam on high heat for 10 minutes or until cook completely.
