Super Easy Caramel Popcorn 超簡單焦糖爆谷

Seriously, popcorn is one of the best, easy to make, cheap and low calories ( if just add salt) snack on earth. When you see the fancy, delicious popcorn that sell in store, yes they might look fancy but also very expensive. You can easily make it at home instead, is slightly healthier, so much cheaper and can adjust the sugar according to your taste.

This is my favourite recipe, to add little bit baking soda at the end, make the caramel a little bit honeycomb flavour, and why not?! It is perfect for party, decorating cake or snack for movie night. Enjoy!

第一次做這些功夫多又複雜的蛋糕,加上做蛋糕的轉盤和刀都沒有,手工不太好,只可遠觀😅😅但心意十足,味道也很好,非常滿意😍😍.

而這個焦糖爆谷實在超超超好味,完全停不了口!做法超簡單,比街買的更經濟、新鮮又好味!

Add one tablespoon oil in a wok, then add one popcorn kernel in it, once it pop, mean the oil is hot enough. Add all the kernels in, mix well, with lid on.

Cook it under medium heat, the kernels will start to pop. Shake the woke every 20 seconds, this can avoid it burn. When there is no hoping sound anymore, let it rest for 30 seconds, open the lid and season with some salt.

For the caramel, add sugar and water in a saucepan, mix well. Cook under medium heat until amber colour. DO NOT stir the syrup. Then remove from heat.

Stir in butter and baking soda, mix well.

Quickly add in popcorn and mix well. Put it on baking sheet and let it cool completely. Enjoy!

在大鑊內下油,至油熱後(可放一粒玉米粒,如爆了即代表油夠熱)下玉米粒,拌勻

然後蓋上鑊蓋,用中火加熱,慢慢會聽到玉米的爆跳聲,每20秒就搖一搖整個鍋子(連鑊蓋),這可防止爆谷燒焦,當聽到爆跳聲停止後,離火。待30秒後才打開鑊蓋. 做好的谷,可先灑點鹽拌勻

焦糖漿做法:將糖及水:將糖及水放入煲內,拌勻,然後用中火煮至糖變成焦糖色(*其間千萬不可以搞拌),離火

然後下牛油,快速攪拌均勻 (會有少許泡沫出現),再下梳打粉,拌勻

快速倒入爆谷,拌勻(要快速拌勻,否則焦糖會變硬),再放在盤上,待涼即成!

*可將爆谷放入密封盒內,可存放一星期

  • 70 g popcorn kernels
