Ingredients
  • 180 g all-purpose flour
  • 20 g sugar
  • 5 g yeast
  • 100 ml milk
  • 250 g red bean paste

Instructions
  1. Divide the red bean paste into 8 pieces, roll into balls. 

  2. Mix yeast, sugar and milk together, let it rest for 10 minutes. Add the yeast mixture into the flour, mix and form a dough. 

  3. Knead the dough for about 8 minutes until the surface is smooth. Cover with cling film or kitchen towel, let it rest for 30 minutes. 

  4. Divide the dough into 8 pieces, press it to form a dish. Add in red bean paste filling, seal it and roll a ball.

  5. Place the dough on the parchment paper and put in a steamer. Cover the lid and let it rest for 30 minutes. The dough will grow bigger. 

  6. Steam at high heat for about 12 minutes, turn off the heat and wait for 3 minutes to take the buns out. (So that buns will not become hard easily)
