Cream the butter and sugar until light and fluffy. Add in Egg, mix well.
Sift in flour, baking powder, lemon zest and salt, mix until well-combined.
Add in lemon juice and milk, mix well. Pour the batter into lined baking tin, pop in preheated oven at 180C, bake for 45 to 50 minutes or until the cake is fully cooked. Let it cool completely on wire rack.
For the icing, sift icing sugar and mix with one tablespoon of lemon juice or water. Gradually add more liquid to make it as a slightly thicken paste. Pour the icing on completely cooled cake, let it set for 30 minutes. (If the cake is still warm, the icing will melt)
