Ingredients
  • 230 g plain flour
  • 12 g baking powder
  • 55 g unsalted butter
  • 50 g cheddar cheese
  • 120 ml milk
  • beaten egg for brushing

  • 230 中筋麵粉

  • 50 車打芝士
  • 120 毫升 牛奶
  • 適量 蛋液
Instructions
  1. In a large bowl, mix flour and baking powder together. Then add in cubed butter, use your hands to crumble the butter and mix with the dry ingredients. 

  2. Add in cheddar cheese and 120ml milk, mix well to form a dough. (If the dough is too dry, add some milk; if too wet, add some flour)

  3. Place the dough onto lightly floured surface, use your hands to form the dough together. Then press the dough into 3 cm thick.Use a cookie cutter to cut circle, place on lined baking sheet.

  4. Brush some egg wash on top, bake in preheated oven at 180C, for 15 to 18 minutes or until golden.
