Super Easy Caramel Popcorn

Ingredients
  • 70 g popcorn kernels
  • 120 g sugar
  • 60 ml water
  • 20 g butter
  • 1/8 tsp baking soda
Instructions
  1. Add one tablespoon oil in a wok, then add one popcorn kernel in it, once it pop, mean the oil is hot enough. Add all the kernels in, mix well, with lid on.

  2. Cook it under medium heat, the kernels will start to pop. Shake the woke every 20 seconds, this can avoid it burn. When there is no hoping sound anymore, let it rest for 30 seconds, open the lid and season with some salt.

  3. For the caramel, add sugar and water in a saucepan, mix well. Cook under medium heat until amber colour. DO NOT stir the syrup. Then remove from heat.

  4. Stir in butter and baking soda, mix well.

  5. Quickly add in popcorn and mix well. Put it on baking sheet and let it cool completely. Enjoy!
