
Mix bread flour, yeast, sugar and salt together. Then add in water, mix well.
Knead the dough for 8-10 minutes, or until the surface of the dough is smooth.
Place the dough in lightly oiled bowl, cover with cling film, let it rest for 1-2 hours till double its size.
Punch the dough to release air. Divide the dough into 8 pieces. Roll into balls. Make a hole in the middle, place it on parchment paper, let it rest for another 45 minutes.
Add water, honey, sugar and baking soda in a large pan, bring it to boil. Then add in dough, cook each side for 40 seconds. Then place it back on baking tray.
Brush with egg wash, sprinkle toppings if you desire. (I put sesame seeds and poppy seeds).
Pop in preheated oven at 200C, bake for 20-25 minutes. Enjoy!
