Ingredients
  • 1 Orange (around 300g) 橙
  • 230 g Sugar 糖
  • 180 g Butter 牛油
  • 270 g Plain Flour 中筋麵粉
  • 12 g Baking Powder 泡打粉
  • 3 Eggs 雞蛋
Orange Glaze
  • 100 ml Orange Juice 橙汁
  • 50 g Sugar 糖
Instructions
  1. Wash and cut the orange into small pieces. Then put orange pieces in blender and process till pureed.

  2. Then add in the rest of the ingredients, blend until smooth.

  3. Pour the batter into lined baking tin, pop in preheated oven at 180C, bake for about 50-60 minutes or until is fully cooked.

  4. For the orange syrup, add around 100ml orange juice and sugar in a saucepan. Cook until sugar dissolved, then simmer for about 10 minutes.

  5. Let the cake cool for 15 minutes, then remove from tin. While the cake is still warm, brush the syrup on the cake. Then let it cool completely. Enjoy!
