Put 3 to 4 tea bags in 400ml boiling water, leave it for 10 minutes then take out the tea bags.
Pour the tea into saucepan, add in dried fruit. Cook under medium heat till boil, then simmer for 5 minutes. At this time, the dried fruit absorb most of the tea. Let it cool.
In a large bowl, mix flour, baking powder and sugar together. Then add in egg and cooled tea and fruit mixture. Mix until well combined.
Pour the batter into lined loaf tin, pop in preheated oven at 170C, bake for about an hour. Check with toothpick to see if is come out clean.
